They posted Uncharted 4 at over 2.7m in first week and PS4 over 40m.

Why talk about the US market when Sony are positioning themselves as a global company.

No point putting out a statement tbh. Especially when you consider their NPD statements this gen which have been the most generic statements ever.

Well they always released an NPD statement except for last month and like you said they are mostly generic. All they had to say was PS4 is #1.
