Legend

Quick confirmation.

Seems pretty much every game is given 2 years before being ported.

I'm surprised TLOU2, Ghost of Tsushima, Demon's Souls haven't been ported yet.

I'm currently playing. Such a fun game! Absolutely gorgeous too. I would like a new Ratchet after Spidey  8)

so much for the SSD making this game possible.

feels more and more like getting a playstation or xbox is unnecessary.

I mean you'll probably need a fast hard drive and/or a faster gpu to compensate

Weren't you complaining about how PCs were still difficult?  ;)

i think i was specifically complaining about steamdeck not being the "consolified" experience i was sold on.  very specifically i bought a game (knytt underground) and it was not in fact "playable".   by default it is a hard crash and i and to figure out via the interwebs that the only way to make the game run was to a prototype version of proton.

i was fine with "text is small" or "requires virtual keyboard".  i've played the game on vita so i knew what to expect there and it's not much.   i was not fine with,.. "oh by the way you have to download and install a different version of the OS and set an override that forces this game to use this other version or we are going to have a hard fault and absolutely no feedback as to why the game is crashing"

so yes,.. PCs are too dang difficult but also PC has every xbox game, working on every ps game, PC exclusive, free online, and oh yeah games are generally cheaper too.  MSony better watch out because if steam gets the deck to be an easy experience it will definitely have the capacity to "eat their lunch" as they say.
