Anything cool so far?I think tomorrow will be the big day for a lot of companies.
Sony not launching TVs at CES is surprising, but it looks like it’s going to focus on the PlayStation VR2 and the Sony / Honda EV instead https://t.co/GTqXEDsjgy

Thanks to NSpaul on the WP Discord server! Emails are going out inviting to watch the #CES live stream promising "a new reality and a WHOLE LOT MORE". "The Future Arrives". I mean, how bragging can it get. Wow! #PSVR2 @parolePSVR @LethalWeaselVR @PSVRUnderground @MylesDyer pic.twitter.com/BF4mBXSo3z

I mean,. with launch just around the corner it makes sense to promote psvr2...It's kind of why it's weird. I can't imagine any big hardware surprises at this point. (Although I'd be thrilled with an attachable audio solution similar to Quest 2/Valve Index).
....but like, we already know a lot about the hardware. we don't need more information on hardware. we need more games. do we really believe Sony is going to announce a bunch of games?!?
I wonder if Sony will announce support for 3d movies on psvr 2. Don't think Sony plans to release 3D tvs again, so a "virtual theater that rivals imax" could be a good play while there is 3d buzz again.god i hope so. such a missed opportunity to add a ton of benefit with fairly little effort.
Otherwise I'll just have to do it myself.
I've been going down the rabbit hole of motion blur lately, so I was looking forward to Sony announcing a new QD-OLED t.v....How does QD OLED affect motion blur?
How does QD OLED affect motion blur?It doesn't. It's just that apparently with black frame insertion, the slow grey to grey causes double images at frame rates less than refresh rates. I'm not sure if Oled's grey to grey are fast enough. I haven't been able to find anything about it for the QD Oleds for whatever reason. Sony just happens to have good black frame insertion so I was wondering how it would be on the newer T.V., especially considering Samsung managed to get the brightness up considerably over last year's models.
