It has been 88 days since he last mentioned the game.

Some believe he is keeping quiet so that NMS can get a big surprise content patch. Others believe the game ended up a scam and he'll stay silent as long as he can. What are your thoughts?

Possibilities:

-Never talk about NMS, pretend it doesn't exist.  Release next game.  (16 in 21 chance.)
-Releases patch.  (5 in 21 chance.)

Big surprise content patch, lol. These must be the same suckers who kept beating the game over and over because there was a surprise "true" ending.

I think he will talk about it when promoting their next game. No way anyone does an interview with him and doesnt ask about NMS.

DD_Bwest

maybe to his  shrink?  lol  i doubt to us..

I really think he will not say a word and hope the controversy blows over.

Regardless of what he does, however, if he makes another game, it's going to flop because his reputation is really bad.

At least Legend does not have to worry about this happening...

VizionEck was a mistake.

"VizionEck Developer Finally Breaks Silence, and What He Has to Say Will Shock You"
by the-Pi-guy  (November 3rd, 2017)

In a stunning twist of events, the silence has been broken after months of controversy. VizionEck developer, Legend, after failing to deliver on the promises his most prominent game, VizionEck was to offer, has been criticized endlessly on social media.  The developer has refused to make any comment on the game since its launch, until today that is.  Here is what he had to say:

VizionEck was a mistake.

It is unclear what we can expect to follow these events.  We don't know when or if Legend will come forward with more to say, and the status of the game VizionEck is uncertain.  Despite criticisms, the game has reportedly been fairly successful.  According to insider, ____, the game has been downloaded 150,000 times even after including the refunds that Sony announced it would provide after the troubled launch.

Gamers are hoping an update will bring the game to be what they expected at launch.  The developer has, unfortunately, made no comments about any potential update.  Hopefully we will hear news soon.

Update:
We have reason to believe that the previous comments by the developer were not actually his own, and that his online account was hacked.  We don't know why or who did this.  We hope to learn more as events progress.

Lol the 'update' part made me chuckle.

i dont understand how a dev can go 88 days without even talking about their game. seems so weird.

while i understand it was a disappointment to some. others did seem to like it. and its not like the game failed.

90 Days of silence from Hello Games about their game. Sean Murray, we've come to bargain. : NoMansSkyTheGame

Doing a fundraising drive for cancer research to celebrate 90 days.

It's even more strange if you factor in the "hack."  It gets them to post a couple tweets about Mr. Robot and then they go back into hiding.

Has any game's PR been this weird after launch?

The team posted this I guess: https://hellogames.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/212961529-Are-You-Working-On-New-Updates-

It says literally nothing new and just reads like one of their automated support emails but I guess it counts.

Edt: it seems this is just a 3rd party support team.
