That's not how colonies work!

I actually know about 100x more about American independence and early American history than I did this time last year. Listening to Hamilton made me look it up and read about it to learn what actually happened. It is very interesting.
You probably have air conditioning though right?
Yep, and my electric bill will be close to 250 this month and next.

the-pi-guy

Why do you guys more commonly call it "fourth of july" rather than "independence day"?
Fourth of July vs. Independence Day: What did early Americans call it?

Seems weird to me.
And yet it seemed weird to me, that independence day would override July fouth.  :D
July 3rd
Independence day
July 5th.
 ;D

Legend

We call it 4th of July so that way we don't forget the date

Ouch. Point taken.

We call it 4th of July so that way we don't forget the date
Lol, but do you call any other important dates by their dates instead of names? Just seems weird that its this one only.

Dr. Pezus

Its 37c here. I'd take you 30c all day everyday and be super happy about it.
Me too

Xevross

We had a high of 27C today. Perfect temperature.

It's 28C now.

Dr. Pezus

It's 8° here. You're welcome to switch!

As long as that's C, I'll switch.
If it's F, I'm good.

But 8C is like the perfect temp.

Lol. I like 14-16 more. And yes it's celsius of course

It's 90 degrees here but my father is crazy and keeps the swamp cooler on max, so it's cool inside.

Whaaaaaaaaaat? 8C is way too cold. Low - mid 20s (around 80F) is the perfect temp for me.

50-70F is perfect.
80F is awful.

But we have different humidity here.
