They are, that's what happened first.  I just posted again to test something.  

When I used quick reply, and then post, it would sometimes tell me "You can't modify just any post" and something along the lines of "Even though this is your thread, you can't modify the post."

Yup I got that fixed. Tweet log was screwing it up.
However what I'm seeing is that the preview button would erase the previous message.
Fixed.
