Like the red lightning crystals, but blue. I noticed them around but there was a specific chest I was going for on a lake island that looked like it'd use them. Guess I just missed the 3rd letter pot.

I got full health and full rage. Pretty much collected everything.

Uh, I have absolutely no idea what you mean. Maybe the realm tears?

Just completed the story. Holy mother of God that ending. What a game!

DD_Bwest

i like that im going slow, i spent yesteray pretty much only doing side content.

Im not the type to read the lore etc. so generally i would have known very little about the back story and world. but

kratos carrying mimirs head was a brilliant idea, the stories while rowing is a perfect way of explaining things on the go

omg such a good game lol

End game story

Spoiler for Hidden:
I've warmed up to the story a bit. The Loki reveal felt whatever at the time but looking online that seems to be a huge deal. The giant serpent is Loki's son or some people even think it is Kratos. Also the game is all about family and it works really well with that.

What is up with the hate for past games though? So many people on resetera think of this game as redemption for the ip/kratos as a game character. This entry seemed pretty true to the past entries with everything except nudity. That was good to remove since it wouldn't have made any sense within the story and would have felt wrong in this entry.

Yeah I read some stuff about that. There's a lot of teases at the end, which is what makes it so good. There's going to be lots of speculation.

My only complaint with the ending is the build up to it, I thought the actual ending was wonderful.

idk. Especially with the blades, it feels just as fast paced/ actiony as the other games as well. And Kratos doesn't redeem himself imo, he still admits that he's a monster. He's just doing his best to make Atreus not turn out like him.

But man am I excited for the next games. Some of the speculation already sounds insane. We've got Freya's revenge, Odin and Thor's revenge. Ragnorok, which Kratos is now actively involved in. Loki/ Atreus stuff like birthing the world serpent, and the theories as to what that last wall mural was showing. This game really was just the beginning.

Oh man am I hyped for the next game. This one has the best combat I've probably ever experienced and does such an incredible job setting the stage. It's not surprising that Barlog also made GOW 2 which is literally just setup for GOW 3. Also this game felt a lot like GOW 2.

The blades felt odd at first for me since I was so used to a higher camera angle with them, but man did they start making sense with lots of enemies. Also was cool how it introduced elemental combat where you wanted fire or ice depending on the enemy.

I hope the next game delves more into Athena and what the situation is with Greece. Also I wonder what the travelers are. They felt like they were knights or something from a far off land (unless that was explained somewhere).

Ragnarok will be crazy. They did such a wonderful job setting up the lore for Ragnarok so that once it starts you really understand the gravity of the situation. That giant lava Giant is going to be awesome and I bet Kratos will once again screw things up and stop Ragnarok from happening the way it is supposed to.

I wonder how the kid will work in the next game. He's grown into his own and being just the sidekick might not fit his character. Was so glad he never replaced Kratos in this one.

Well I'm a short way and I'm already engrossed. Before I played the game I see previews with The Stranger and didn't think much to it. Now I've played that part, it was extremely well done. Honestly I wasn't hyped for this game. I thought norse mythology was a stepdown from Greek mythology and didn't likethe open world aspect of the game but early signs are this is going to be epic.

I love Roman/ Greek, but mainly because I know it better.

Now I know more about Norse I think it's my new fave

I just like the architecture in Greece/Rome. Like, the aqueducts in Rome work to this day.
