I wouldn't use it for anything.  I have Zelda on my Wii U.  Super Mario Galaxy bored me to tears, I doubt the new one will impress me.  I don't care for Mario Kart or Splatoon... that's the entirety of Nintendo's library.  The only other game I'd get is Metroid, but they'd have to show a lot of Samus' booty to convince me to get it.  It'd soley be for me to turn on Ultra Street Fighter 2 once and then never play it again.

Not really surprising. A game like Splatoon is never going to be a big seller in the UK. Most of the market just isn't interested, and there's not too many Switches out there.

From GAF it looks like 29k from Crash and 28k from Splatoon 2. Now that is a pretty insane performance from Crash, I can't believe how well its going.

Renewed stock of Activision Blizzard's 'Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy' helps it regain No1 from 'Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age' which drops to No7.

New entry 'Splatoon 2' comes very close to claiming Nintendo's second ever Switch-only All Formats No1 with a strong debut, but has to settle for No2. 'Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy' matches 'The Last of Us: Remastered' with the most weeks at No1 for a PS4-only title with 3 weeks. 'Splatoon 2' outperforms the original becoming the 3rd biggest ever Switch launch, behind Zelda and Mario. Both 'Mario Kart 8 Deluxe' and 'The Legend of Zelda: The Breath of the Wild' bounce back in to the Top 10 to No's 4 and 6 respectively. It is Mario's highest chart position since its third week of launch.

To be honest Splatoon wasn't that big in UK either. France and Germany will be more telling. Great for Crash though.

The mental gymnasts on Neogaf who are trying to spin the Splatoon 2 launch in the UK into something impressive really show how the sales community of that website has been overrun by Nintendo fanboys.

It's not really a fantastic debut but it's alright for what the game is imo. Splatoon sold most of its copies in Japan and US so while disappointing for some. It's still alright. Crash is also on some ridiculous tear so nonthing can jump that train lol

The worst on gaf is the japanese sales threads.  Littered with Nintendo fanboys.  yesterday vena was making a show of himself. They always downplay the ps4.

They're super salty ps4 got superior DQ11 version and that it appears to be selling well. And MHW made them go loco haha.

Anyway looking forward to MC on Wednesday.  Splatoon numbers,  Switch numbers and ps4 sales 1 week before DQ11. Should be fun.
