Trump on Andrew Jackson and "why was there the civil war?"

The Civil War happened, largely because the Southern States were worried about slavery being made illegal.  
Largely because slavery made the south very wealthy, with basically free labor.  

Also, important to note that Andrew Jackson was dead for about 16 years before Civil War; so he couldn't have said anything about it.  

Not to mention that Andrew Jackson was a slave owner who was not know for his big heart.  Rather, he's likely the closest thing the US has ever had to a king; responsible for the trail of tears.   Where thousands of Indians died after being forced to move.
