I, too, think Sony will be better off not releasing the PS5 until 2020. By then, Sony may be able to opt for a Ryzen+/Navi APU instead of a Ryzen+/Vega APU.
Exactly.  The longer they wait the better the upgrade.  And sure anyway they can release a ps5 pro in 2024 for those enthusiasts.

If Playstation fans are so desperate for an upgrade anytime soon they are on the wrong platform.  They can go off to PC. The level of graphics we have no on the ps4 and ps4 pro would keep me happy for another 4 years easily.

I think when AMD/TSMC get ready with 7nm will be when PS5 will be released.

if scorpio doesnt change much in the industry and sales pattern, i can see Sony holding out till 2020. more sales and profits for them from the PS4, plus they can have a bigger leap between gens at a more reasonable price at 2020. they will have a huge install base in 2018/19/20 and software sales can be very high, as well as PS+ subscriptions.

GF bought a Nintendo Switch from a 3rd party on Amazon..... - NeoGAF

She found one listed as brand new, and the list was at 199.99
On a whim she bought it, we're awaiting to see what random stuff we get shipped to us in a box of a Nintendo Switch. Luckily her order is backed by Amazon if this is indeed what I feel might be that a scam.
I just have thoughts running through my head we'll end up like that guy who ordered that TV from Slickdeals that arrived smashed into a hundred pieces.

Remember most people were sure we'd have a new gen by 2018 at the latest?  Well I always maintained a 2020 date.  And the closer we get the crazier those 2018 preductions look.  it just made no sense.

I think when AMD/TSMC get ready with 7nm will be when PS5 will be released.
Do you not think they'll have a ps4 super slim with a 7mn chip?

Kerotan

Zelda back to #1 on amazon Japan.

Nier at #6 and Horizon #8.

Excellent legs by all especially Zelda.

I guess a revision with half-node 10/12nm to be out next year is probably... 7nm won't be read before 2019 and it can be delayed to even 2020.
