Launch!

But without the landing, what's there to look forward too  :P

edt: it's really cool seeing the rocket illuminate itself.

Altitude is dropping. Is that normal?
i turned away after MECO and the second stage igniting successfully.   but i think for this trajectory yes, itll have reached a somewhat stable orbit, even tho itll be technically loosing altitude until its Pe, but the next burn will send it up to GTO anyways before it gets there

Yeah it was only every so slightly dropping.

And dear god that ending lol. Glad I stayed up for it.

I really hope it's delayed. I was going to be in Florida for those few days but plans changed. If I missed out on seeing the first re-used rocket in person  :'(

What's special about this next launch?
first ever re used orbital class booster,  the section theyve been landing

Legend

THis is the CRS 8 booster that they are reusing.

I Really hope they can land it again but the odds are poor. SES 10 is a heavy payload.

ALso Horizon mentioned AMOS-16

I thought it might be this but I wasn't sure if it had been done before.

Should be an amazing moment

View of the new drone.

It drives under the rocket after it lands and grabs the octoweb to secure it. Won't need humans to come on before they know it's safe.
