Pokemon let's go looks great, but I have mixed feelings about the changes.

I think its interesting as a pokemon go tie in. As long as they keep this stuff out of the core games then its all good! Really, all you're losing is wild battles and instead you just throw pokeballs. That's perfectly fine with me! Pokemon Go isn't necessary either, its just a neat connection for those who still play it.

So its a pokemon yellow remake, with new graphics for pokemon. Eevee or pikachu sits on your shoulder the whole time, like for Ash, that's cute.

Basically, its a full proper remake like we've come to expect, except:

• no new pokemon, its only the original 151 in Yellow
• no wild battles, only catching mechanic like in Go

But with added benefits of:

• pokemon following you
• COUCH CO-OP
• pokemon go integration, for those who want it
• pokemon riding
• eevee/ pikachu customisation

Sounds so good to me!

Also confirmed the core game next year is in the Sun/ Moon, X/ Y style. i.e. a proper game

Saw a good point on Era. This is basically like a bridge for pokemon go players to get a switch, and get into the proper pokemon main games. But also good for current pokemon fans, as its another remake with some fun features.

I'm happy with all of it except the stats and levelling. Seems like its going to be more similar to pokemon go than mainline games, which sucks.

Pokemon quest is just a meh mobile game unfortunately.

It has the classic waiting around, you don't get to control very much. There's just not really much to do.

Its like weird levels where the pokemon control themselves mostly, but you get to tell them to use moves on cooldown. Of course, there's stamina which means you can only play one level every half an hour unless you pay...

Already uninstalled it, oh well.
