You mean like a new mainline Mario?

2D Mario seems doubtfull since we've got maker, but I could see a new 3D one if it's 3D world 2. Would prefer a new saga though.

My first 2D Mario game was NSMBU. I found it fun.

Haha woah that's a cool thing to think about. My first 2D mario game might be the last for a long while. While my first 3D mario game was the first.

If you played the original 2D Marios and played the NEW 2D ones you will easily see the differences in the pace and the design of the levels.

Its hard to explain .

Anyways, I just dont like the pace and the level design you could say. By no means am I saying NSMB series is bad - its just a bit more stale compared to other Mario games. After playing the first and second one, it just gets tedious afterwards unlike 3D Mario - where its entirely different in level and design.

Its one of those games where you play it once and dont have the urge to play it again or another game like it - at least for me thats how it is.

2.5 Mario (a.k.a. 3D Land and World) are fantastic though.

Lot of people were just upset that we got 4 NSMB games within a short time of each other.

They were good games, people were just burned out.
