Article claims the Gamestop got 500k Switch allocated for launch, all of which have been pre-ordered, it also claims Gamestop has 1.2 million Switch game pre-orders and 250k on a wait list for a second batch of Switch pre-orders.

God, when I see shame like this I just can't help feeling that I'd easily be able to do this better or at least more accurately, I should try to become a freelance writer for shame like this.
On the subject of sales, people often forget the Wii U had a great launch. Switch will have a hard time beating it.
