Amazing game journalism by Metro.

Article claims the Gamestop got 500k Switch allocated for launch, all of which have been pre-ordered, it also claims Gamestop has 1.2 million Switch game pre-orders and 250k on a wait list for a second batch of Switch pre-orders.

Weirdly enough there's no mention of any of these numbers in Gamestops press release...

...but I remember reading these numbers somewhere, oh right it was on Gaf, where Zhuge Ex was talking about the Wii U!

Oh, I guess someone didn't properly read his sources before writing his little article and the chertz are believing it of course (then again you probably wouldn't expect a mistake like that).

God, when I see shame like this I just can't help feeling that I'd easily be able to do this better or at least more accurately, I should try to become a freelance writer for shame like this.
