Dr. Pezus

Good hardware sales for ps4. I'm very impressed with the last 2 weeks.  Now hoping the next 2 weeks it doesn't drop much before gran turismo sport gets the ball rolling.
I really doubt gt sport will have much effect, sadly.

Well this week's releases bumped hardware up 6k. Gran turismo will be bigger and has a limited edition ps4. I don't expect a huge effect but I expect something.

Yeah I'd say a 15k boost or so perhaps

Switch - 1.8m
Wii U- 3.3m.
Really incredible.
Wonder how long it'll be before the Switch overtakes it.

Activision 'Destiny 2' physical game sales fell more than 50 percent versus original

Destiny 2 first month sales are down 50% on the first game in the US. Digital will probably be higher but it won't be close to making up for that drop.

This is about the sales I was expecting honestly, its only selling to people who loved the first game and maybe a few newcomers.

Yeah they did a poor job deciding what Destiny 2 "is." Tries too hard to make both casuals and hardcore fans happy imo.

From what I saw they only managed to appeal to the people who bought all the expansions etc. I had it preordered on Amazon before it was announced but the marketing of it actually put me off, because it seemed like they didn't care about me. Me being the type of person who liked Destiny but not enough to play it for more than a month or so and never bought the expansions.

7 of my close friends bought Destiny and none of us wanted #2

To be fair after TTK they are trying to focus on casual.

Destiny 2 is basically the Destiny made for casual... little to no grind, max level fast without never do end of game content, no reason to play Raids, Nightfall, etc.

That doesn't sound like an improvement to me, what's the point in playing if the main stuff is skip-able and getting to max level is super quick... what is there to do except PvP?

That is the biggest complain the community is having about end of gaming content right now.

Bungie even addressed it in a weekly talk.

"Ever since launch, there has been feedback posted anywhere and everywhere that discussions about Destiny 2 happen on the internet. I'm always dialed into our own feedback forum, as well all other avenues you travel to share your ideas with us. Some topics are as broad as "ways to make the Crucible more fun." Some are much more specific, like "Add a method to mass delete shaders."

We're reading as much of your chatter as we possibly can. There are millions of you, after all. One thing we have noticed is a lot of discussions about the Endgame and how it can be improved. Right now, these discussions are also happening in our studio. We are listening, but need time to digest everything and draw up the best plans for the future. We will have more to say on this soon. Please stay tuned, and keep the conversation rolling."
