I'm willing to bet we get a Horizon bundle for the holidays that will boost sales of the game. Possibly a Pro bundle.

I can see a Horizon Pro bundle also. That game has been used a bit to show off the Pro already so it makes sense.

To dial things back a little, it seems like that P5 number includes digital after all, my bad. I just assumed it was physical only because Atlus doesn't officially share digital numbers yet, but I guess NPD somehow does digital estimates even without that.

Still extremely impressive sales for the series of course.

I wouldn't say abysmal since it's entirely due to low supply but it's lower than I expected

i mean its rather low. i know stock is a factor, but compare it to second months of PS4 and XB1. its no where near.  plus 280k isnt that high of a number. a lot of non holiday months PS4 and Xb1 beat that number handily.

I think it's strange that Nintendo can't keep up with demand but it's supply issues, international or not, is the reason it's sold relatively poor.

if demand was really much stronger, they should have had more.

Yep. I did those in my head earlier and rounder PS4 down and XB1 up to make sure they were definitely within the limits. I just worked it out properly though and got:

PS4>200k
XB1<128k

So slightly better estimates.

Here's my working if people are interested:

NS=280k

If xb1>126k

Mr Swine 11k further away on XB1+ NS than jroc, so needs to be at least 11k closer on PS4

x-y=11
x+y=29

x=20, y=9

So minimum PS4=180+20=209-9=200

hence PS4>200k

If Xb1<125k

Mr Swine 13k further away on XB1+ NS, so needs to be at least 13k closer on PS4

x-y=13
x+y=29

x=21, y=8

hence PS4>201k

So PS4 limit is >200k

jroc 20k further away than etho on NS+PS4, so needs to be at least 20k closer on XB1
