If a person is watching a show for just 1 person they shouldn't be watching in the first place.Disagree with this. People watch shows for all kinds of reasons. Interesting characters, interesting story, interesting other things. Nothing wrong with watching a show because something is interesting, whether it's one character, the dynamic of the characters, etc.
