Honestly it was a genius move by Nintendo. This thing makes a great gift, it's a cool idea that costs the same as just one game, and it plays heavily on nostalgia. Heck it's a gadget that's cool to have on your shelf even if you don't play it

In Canada Nioh is #1 in computers/video games sales and Horizon is #4...Too lazy to take a picture lol but these two games seem like they will do great for Sony.

The Battlefield 1 bundle appears to be phased out on Amazon. It's no longer listed in the dropbox when you choose what XB1 bundle you want.

I've seen that other people have been out off after playing the game, like I was. The "open beta" being so cloe to launch and reviewers not being sent any copies doesn't add any confidence. Plus the news that there isn't a proper single player campaign doesn't help it.

Personally I think it's not going to be a very good game and the general audience has realised that over time.

Edit: by not very good I mean I think it will be good but nothing special

well from what i seen a lot of people who played it loved it. this game wasnt going to set the charts on fire but i could see it doing 3-4 million. Ubisoft also seem to be marketing the game rather heavily so it seems they have confidence in it. the single player certainly isnt the main draw of the game but the multiplayer.

For honor starting to perform well. beta seems to be having a good effect. lets hope it sells well, i just absolutely love that game.

Why does it have to be we?  Like we're not a hive mind.  We can't view it differently.  Even the ultimate hive gaf have a very diverse opinion on this.  Many go with handheld,  many with home console and some give it a new category under both.

Discounting the Switch from the home consoles and adding it exclusively to the handhelds is completely ridiculous. You can't just say "Oh I consider the Switch a handheld" when it 100% out of the box functions like a home console as well as a handheld. This is not a matter of opinion, these things are defined and the Nintendo Switch clearly checks the mark of both definitions.

I'm sorry but I can and I will.  It's actually less ridiculous then vita TV numbers being counted as vita numbers. 

It's a handheld with w TV connection gimmick.  It's got the power of a handheld. 

Actually I don't see what's ridiculous about that. The Vita TV is part of the Vita line of products. Counting the Vita TV as a handheld would be ridiculous, but I'm pretty sure that's not what people do.

Lmao it's clearly a factor for me and many others who view the Switch as a handheld over a home console. 

I respect people who view it as a console like I respect people who think it's a handheld.  You seem to have a problem with it though.  All I'm gonna say is,  I'm looking forward to the next few years of you and a select 1 or 2 others getting salty over my opinion.

Like I said this is not a matter of opinion. Calling something your opinion is not a ticket that allows you to lable things in any way you want.

There are clear attributes that define what home consoles and handhelds do and the Switch does both, so if you want to put the Switch into a hybrid category that does both, then fine, but if you want to deny it its home console status based on nothing but your opinion then I'm going to call you out on your battleship.

Maybe you're just not understanding the difference between how you would use something and how it would be defined, many people used the PS2 and PS3 as DVD/Bluray players, that still doesn't mean those systems can be exclusively defined as DVD/Bluray players even as an opinion, the same holds true here, just because you or others use the Switch as a handheld does not mean it loses its home console attributes.. But I somehow feel that you know that very well and are only defining the Switch exclusively as a handheld to preventively cover your dog in case the Switch outsells the PS4, even if only in Japan, and that makes me embarrassed not salty.

Wii U owners have moved on from the system already. The Switch version of Zelda is going to significantly outsell the Wii U version, I'm sure of it.

It's currently 1st on all North American Amazon websites as well as all major European Amazons aside from, weirdly Spain where it's 3rd (the Crash remake is 1st there) and on Amazon Japan it's third, so going by all of that alone the launch should be more than healthy.

Btw. Halo Wars 2, which officially launches today, seems to be a complete bomb, at least on Amazon.com.
