xbox one is at 5-6 in a bit less than a year. Wii u is at 6-7 in a bit less than two years. Xbox is doubling wii. not selling within 10k of it

Halo, Gears of War, Quantum Break, Sunset Overdrive, Fable, Forza, Crackdown, etc. shame on smash and zelda both in quality and sales. Why would you think Wii would get the bigger boost?

Wii U launched at a mass market price. Didnt do shame. Meanwhile xbox one is $400 and still doubling wii sales. Once it hits $349 this holiday it will slaughter.

Again, you keep rounding Xbox up and WiiU down.
Xbox is at 5m, WiiU at almost 7m. It's not really important how long it took them to reach those points since at the current rate, Xbox One is losing and not doubling WiiU.

That was back in April.

Wii U was 6 million in May.

Shipped, it was likely just over 4 million sold through at that point, meaning there was about a 2 million gap between them back then. The same gap as there is now, the Xone is not catching up right now, however, it would be if MK8 hadn't released and it will be again once those games that you mentioned release

Vita!

Xbox One has a lot more going for it, but it also has a lot stronger competition.

Wii U will do good if Nintendo makes it do good, while Xbox One will only do good if PS4 fails.

Nintendo still has Smash this holiday and Legend of Zelda next year. There's no reason to expect the Wii U to die before it hits 20 million.

Xbox One has a lot of games coming for it and should pass 20 million in the US alone, but that'd only happen if PS4 started to slack off. Instead PS4 is only building momentum which will hurt Xbox. It's going to also end up at just over 20 million worldwide, most likely.

So the way I see it, it's a repeat of the 6th generation. They'll both be super close with little sales regardless of who beats the other.

Close between XB1 and Wii U? I agree.

But OS4 already have doubled the XB1 sales and the gap will just widen.
