Destiny 2 is near to beat the record without PC players.The 1.2m number for Dota is only Steam's record. It's not the world record for concurrent, it's only the steam record.
It's nowhere close to the highest game for concurrent players.
LoL for example has had at least 7.5 million players concurrently for its record.
