I didn't expect GT7 to be so much better most of the time.

I'm impressed with how peaceful the Era thread is.

Forza seems to have more impressive trees, and does more with RT lighting.  
GT7 seems to have quite a few advantages. More realistic materials, more detailed cars.

There's also frequently a difference in terms of priorities. GT7 frequently has reconstructed the actual landscape and tree lines to match the real world tracks; and in general tries making things photorealistic. Whereas Forza seems like it was trying to be more flashy visually.


I'm not a huge fan of these kinds of racing games, but both are pretty impressive. I'm just surprised that Forza isn't so strong after the longest development time they've ever had.

I like the how he referred to DriveClub being the standard when talking about rain drops on windscreens. DriveClub did that do good. Rip DriveClub  :'(
