So I was listening to Puddles Pity Party and Haley Reinhart covering Mad World when I remember that Gears of War commercial.
Gears pretty much defined last gen (And GTA), WTF happened to it? Was Gears 4 that bad? Should they have just left it at 3? Should Microsoft sell the IP to Activision (Or Take Two)?

I was talking more about how Gears was ruling the games world between 2006 - 2013.
I just remembered that commercial, the other commercials as well. I think the only Gears 4 commercial I saw made me change the channel.
They had an awesome formula back in 2006 but by today's standards it's just stale. They failed to evolve and milked the old formula too much.
Was switched from a company that developed and loved it, to a company that was expected to pump out Gears as fast as possible.
