Well finally they faced how shame their shipments predictions was...Actual sales forecast has been raised to 10 million for the next fiscal year, I'm sure I'm not the only one that was confused by this.

I'm not sure they can reach that in a year. They should ramp up production in May/June. They'll have a clearer picture by then.

It's actually a really good opening for Zelda and I wouldn't have expected Horizon to do that much.Considering this was my week 1 prediction and I included digital this was pretty fudgy spot on!
So if I estimate:
110k - Japan
110k - France
40k - Spain
150k - UK
200k - Germany
So maybe
750k for the EU and Japan
750k North America
And 100k ROTW
That's about 1.6m. With 20% digital that would be 1.9m first week. When Sony announces shipment numbers I expect them to be around 2m.
Ps4 34k this week in japan. Super sales. Could it actually beat ps3 to 5m???Good that the PS4 was able to keep consistent against the Switch.

am i the only person who think nintendo switch sells are not that good in japanI honestly don't know if Nintendo just under-shipped. I'm sure the Switch will do fine once they make a Switch slim or something smaller. Though still being stuck on PS3 like tech isn't doing them any favours.

GameStop reported Thursday that hardware sales declined 29.1 percent, and new software sales fell by 19.3 percent for the quarter -- two categories that were once key in boosting revenue for the retailer.
The Texas-based company said fiscal fourth-quarter global sales decreased 13.6 percent to $3.05 billion, while consolidated comparable sales -- a metric monitored closely for retail companies by Wall Street -- declined 16.3 percent, falling in line with analysts' estimates, according to FactSet.
Shares of GameStop plummet on reports of lost salesAs someone who has worked for that company and experienced first hand how despicable their leadership is, I say good riddance and I hope the people on the bottom who get screwed find better jobs.
While Software sales can be attributed to digital in some part... Hardware sales drop is really worrisome... they will possible close more stores.
