Yes it's not new for the franchise, but that just shows Nintendo has never had the "what's the least we can do" attitude.
yes they do. just look at splatoon. by the third game it will probably be a complete game but nintendo is putting a low effort PoS right now so nintendo fans and finance the initial development of the game. a multiplayer "shooter" with 1 game mode. a team based "shooter" with no party chat. but hey,.. the last nintendo direct they went into excruciation detail about how there is a hub world so at least we know this game has a menu system that allows you start the game...
