Uuuh hasn't some game sold more than 16m? Diablo 3 for example had sold 12m after a few months for example so there must be something bigger. Half-Life 2? It keeps selling during Steam sales.

Edit: WoW surely has sold more. Has like 7m+ subscribers decades later so I'll eat my hat if it didn't have more than 16m buyers

Seriously, Sims is THE franchise for girls and some guys as well. It's much bigger than a 6m franchise.
