Both are coming very soon. The previous editions have been great and were overall really helpful to me. For Real-Time Rendering it has been a almost a decade since the third edition so it will be interesting to see what the updates will be.

Pretty sure it was just updates to what they have.
But the second edition added some The Last of Us details.  

They apparently added some 200 pages...

Honestly I find reading books on this type of stuff is not helpful for me, personally.  I have to get in there and just do it myself.  I do love me some game art books though!

Well you focus a lot more on the art side of things so that'd make sense. I'd love to read these books so that I don't have to reinvent the wheel when programing.
