Does anybody on here do this sort of analysis on whether game worlds work or if they don't? When I play games, I have criteria I test them on: I call it the the reality check. - NeoGAFA giant wall of text, I was expecting something more substantial. It seems like pretty basic stuff to me.
Honestly this is insane to me. I absolutely do not even give this stuff a second thought. I can recognize if something works better than something else, but if I analyzed everything like this I would never have any fun.
Well. Sometimes I think about stuff like that. Other times I don't really think about it. I never go out of my way to analyze things like he apparently does. I make observations while playing. I don't tend to let them bother me though. Usually I get a kick out of things. Like wow, this sign has awful English.
