Red Dead Redemption 2 Will Have Microtransactions

Quote
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick confirmed as much in a recent investor call. In the call, Zelnick claimed that microtransactions accounted for a whopping 42% of Take-Two's "net bookings" in the past quarter, and so it's no surprise that future games like Red Dead Redemption 2 will feature them.
We aim to have recurrent consumer spending opportunities for every title that we put out at this company. It may not always be an online model, it probably won't always be a virtual currency model, but there will be some ability to engage in an ongoing basis with our titles after release across the board."

Yeah.... No shame..  GTA5 made a killing from that, and RDR will surely have a similar model. As long as it's not pay to win I guess I'm fine for the most part.

Ludicrous Speed

Of course. I'm sure those GTA cards make a crud ton of money.
