Yep the correct solution hasn't been posted yet.

Got to be creative.

Does it kind of take some aspect of my puzzle?

Spoiler for Hidden:
Closer to Swordfish&#39;s original puzzle then Pi&#39;s puzzle.<br>

Or is the hint a bit of a misnomer?

Well it has numbers like yours, but no math.

When I Google the number it comes up with this image

I don't think it's any of our birthdays.

If ya'll would like a hint that might get you on the correct track,
Spoiler for hint:
&quot;Red Herring&quot; is not a red herring.

the-pi-guy

Ha I was wondering about that.

the-pi-guy

I've made two of my own puzzles trying to get this.
In totally different ways.

Legend

Seems like we might need another hint.

Honestly, the challenging part is figuring out what the goal point is.

I came up with two puzzles based off the one.  The only difference is for one puzzle I'd change one of the digits and the other has one less digit.
But the same picture otherwise is the puzzle.

Same set up, wildly different ways about going out about it.

These puzzles are like blindly trying to find something in a room full of toys.  You know when you don't have anything, but you are never really sure if you are close to picking up the right toy, or even if you are looking for a toy at all.

Ya these types of puzzles work best imo when a large group work together on them. That way each person only needs to try out a couple ideas and progress is much nicer to luck into.

What close solutions did you find? The actual one is pretty stupid but statistically I wouldn't think other probable answers exist.

Got it "Hi nerd".
The numbers use the letters from red herring.
It took three hints but we got there.

Red herring

Is the answer: "Hi Nerd"?

The puzzles I was looking at were pretty similar, except R=0, counting like you would for an array.

Then they involved switching letters around.

I think I must have gotten too elaborate before trying out simpler ones.

Wow, I didn't bother reading the next post...

Puzzle us, sir.

Legend

You both did it!
