Speaking to IGN after the June report came out yesterday, the NPD Group's Mat Piscatella went on to say that God of War isn't just the fastest-selling exclusive on the PS4, but is instead now the fast-selling in the history of PlayStation according to their numbers. Tracking for these statistics began back in 1995 and the previously held title of fastest-selling for PlayStation was held by The Last of Us when it launched on PS3 back in 2013. What's bad faith about it?Just cause it's using COMG to gauge interest in Japan. COMG has been decreasing its influence and store numbers for the past few years so it's more unreliable.
The resetera comments didn't all call it out so I assumed the article was decent.

Close thread if not sourced enough or if there was a thread and I searched poorly.
On my own thoughts, I think the game looks good but wonder if two historical shooters back to back (not to mention the competition having just did WW2 as well), might ultimately make BFV not sell as well (let's be honest a bad selling Battlefield is still probably going to be one of the best sellers of the year).

I thought all version combined were around 10m?Yeah I don't expect BFV to do that well, compared to the last two BF games anyway. October is a death trap.
