This wouldn't be getting anywhere near 1 million units in Japan if true, unless MS buys the rights to Dragon Quest and/or Yakuza and/or Monster hunter and/or Final Fantasy etc etc.
Creating something new themselves isn't even tried in the West, so why would they bother trying in the East  ...
