Where is this from?
It's from a Youtube vid of the same length. I have no idea where that came from either.

It looks so assassin's creed. But that's a great thing. GG have really went all out with gameplay on this. It's just hard to believe sometimes
I love that it has aspects of assassin's creed. I'm a huge fan of the series.

The gameplay looks like so much fun. My only worry is the longevity of the game... is the story good all the way through, is the gameplay fun and fresh for 40+ hours

Yeah I'm really glad it does.  It basically took what AC did with it's platforming and made it look tons better.  Its literally a mix of AC and Uncharted platforming and that alone makes me hyped.

For me I think the longevity of the game will come through just admiring the world and all the attention to detail that's in.  I'm a huge sucker for amazing foliage in games and this game does it above every other game by so much I'm afraid of what my gamete will be for just looking at the world/foliage.  i'm guessing i'll spend upwards of 20 or more hours just fudgy with the photomode.

But I do agree I hope the story is great throughout the whole thing.  Sounds like it will be so I'm optimistic.

Story and fun gameplay are the big two for me. If I enjoy playing the game then I'll have fun all the way through. If I start to get frustrated by the gameplay, a great story will still keep me playing.

I barely ever use photomode in games. I often admire views in games which are amazing looking but I don't like to stand around for a long time, I wanna keep going with the story :P

If I love a game loads then I'll play it through again and take more time to enjoy the environment though

Well for me I like taking photos in game so I can go through and try and deconstruct how it's modeled.  It's the easiest way for me to figure out how detailed I can go now in my environments.  It was engrained so much to go super low poly for my stuff while I was in school and now I'm trying to catch up to new games and workflows because my school fails to adapt to the industry or even try hard to.   I saw a wireframe of Uncharted 4 and it's tessellation and there was likely a couple million polys on screen at any given time and mine have been usually not even 500,000.   This game alone will hopefully help me push past my boundaries.

Guerrilla must be super confident on the reviews.

the-pi-guy

So excited!!!!

There are no coincidences.

Kerotan

Nice.  They're giving reviewers plenty of time.  I wonder when the embargo lifts and the reviews go live?

Shinobi said it would be early. No indication how early though.

Horizon

I was just thinking even if this game is not amazing this is the first game I can think of like that has a scope comparable to the Witcher or Fallout that is exclusive to only one system. It is sort of unprecedented really and I wonder how much an exclusive of this type of game will do. Generally Sony's RPG's exclusives are like Bloodborne, Demon Souls, Persona or Tales. They have never truly had an open world Wrpg exclusive before.
