Figured this might be fun.
Been a while since I played so much on PS3. Only a few hours into the first one.
Graphics:
There are two types of cutscenes: okay and really bad.
The really bad ones look like they were rendered on a PS2.
The okay ones look great except they look like it's being watched on a SDTV. But they look like they are using a full res Kratos' model and stuff.
Gameplay looks pretty consistent and looks substantially better than the cutscenes.
There's some weird things like Kratos' standing in front of the lights to save causes him to lose his AA or something. That's how it looks at least.
Gameplay:
Stunning. Ridiculously fluid. Kratos' has a ridiculous number of combos and it's all done so fluidly.
It's not perfect. There are a few games I would say control better, but it's pretty dang great.
