Hm, difficult to say, the passion for Splatoon definitely seems to have died out somewhat in the west, but it seems to be alive and well in Japan. Then again it'll also have much more time to sell on the Switch assuming Nintendo doesn't actually start making regular sequels for Splatoon, which considering that Splatoon is only two years old and they are already releasing the second game might actually be a possibility. I think it has a decent shot to outsell the first game.

I also think the person that made a thread on the chertz asking if Splatoon 2 could sell 5 million in Japan alone, is absolutely insane.
