So I have a few questions just for the sake of discussion. How good of a reception Gears 4 will receive and how much will it affect hardware sales? On the PS4 side, how much influence will PSVR have on hardware sales?
I think Gears 4 will score in the low-to-mid 80s and will have some pull on XB1 sales. The fact that Microsoft did not release a Gears collection whose online had major issues will play a significant role.
For PSVR, unless everyone is saying that it's an absolute must have, it will have less of an influence than Gears 4 because of its price. PSVR won't have that great of an influence until it hits mass market pricing and is bundled with the PS4/Pro. And by the time that happens, it needs to maintain consumer interest.
