Rules:

Non game info/stats can go fudge themselves unless they match the in game character. IE if a guide book says Rayman is 200 miles tall but the game presents him as like 5 ft, he's 5 ft.

As far as dying in games go, assume the playthrough is perfect. Kratos dying against a skeleton means you suck, not that he does.

Invincibility and other ultimate forces are only ultimate within that game's universe. IE Mario with that powerup could still potentially be destroyed by a nuke.

I'd argue that Kratos could win.

We've seen him kill things like souls before, so he probably could perma kill Celembrimbor.

Or he could just kill that bad guy and free his spirit right?

Kratos easily ;)

Have you played shadow of mordor? He can't die, well he can die but he just pops back. He also can take over people's minds.

But Kratos, he's killed people like that though D:

Besides if Kratos dies - he'll just come back from the underworld again.....with more powers o.O

SOM guy could just forge Kratos a power ring that stops him from coming back from hades ;)

The problem is that TLotR is a mostly low fantasy setting, at last by the time of the game. Earlier there were elves that solod armies of Balrogs, but that was even before Celembrimbors time.

Whereas Kratos literally does this all day and night.
