So to update on sales recently

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 has released and had a
97k debut in Japan
14k debut in the UK
These are both series high school for the franchise.

Skyrim and Doom disappointed in the UK.

First Party selling good as always.

Skyrim and Doom disappointed in the UK.
That's surprising. I heard so much about those ports and it's not like they have much 3rd party competition.

How disappointing are we talking?

Well grant it the UK isn't a good measure for a Nintendo games's sucess(ARMS had a lower debut than XC2 but is at 1.35 Million worldwide) however, Skyrim sa being marketed heavily and only doin around 5k estimated is terrible.

So just want to clarify some things.

When it comes to Switch Third Party Sales it's been pretty bipolar in Europe and Norrh America due to the marketing of Europe being geared towards families we see low numbers in a number of the more mature titles; however NA (which has marketing geared towards young adults and teens) we see it is showing opposite reaction to these types of titles. Looking at the digital side and online retailers of the top 60%(According to NPD so GameStop, Walmart, Amazon, Target ,and Best Buy)  of Video game market share, a lot of these 3rd parties have done well namely Skyrim, Sonic Forces, and Doom. Xenoblade has also charted high on these digital charts so that is a good thing. So just a reminder that using the Uk as a basis for sales is premature until we get ahold of the two biggest markets of NA and JP.
For Example: XCX had a terrible debut on Wii U in the UK but debuted in the top 10 for Germany and sold 40k week 1 in France.

Yup, look into Nintendo's financial report and the the Switch digital sales revenue has been rising  significantly since launch to unprecedented heights. Currently at an all time high. Should increase significantly with holidays and major releases getting boosts or releasing.

That's to be expected really.  Handhelds benefit from digital sales more than home consoles

Nailed it. It won't  be close to the heights Microsoft and Sony have built with digital but it'll build a respectable percentage of sales.

Switch sold 55k Units in South Korea for its first three days. Wii, DS, and 3ds, didn't hit that until over a month in.
