Well, yeah, I believe most of the people working for Icelandic news websites are total amateurs. I see bad grammar/spelling mistakes, poor research work etc. all the time

Hmmm no. Or they try to be I guess but fail to be as good. Much of the time news are almost directly translated from other sources (like BBC) with no links to the source even
