Legend

So after 24 months do you own it? They did the same thing with 360 towards the end of last gen.

So they say
Pretty cool imo if you're short of cash

Yeah but in the end it costs like twice as much.

Xbox One X:
$840 for $500 worth of hardware + $120 worth of Xbox live + $240 worth of game pass.
$20 worth of savings.

Xbox One S:
$528 for $300 worth of hardware + $120 worth of Xbox live + $240 worth of game pass.
$131 worth of savings.

No it doesn't, it's cheaper than MSRP.

That's assuming you would buy everything in the bundle and not look for cheaper prices.

Although I will admit I hadn't realized how expensive game pass was.

The Xbox One X is a bad deal.
Game pass is $2 for the first two months.  So you're only saving $2.

That doesn't even include finding deals on Xbox live.

Xbox One S is decent though.

Well it's a bad deal if you're calculating the total cost. But if you look at it as you paying  back a loan it's quite a good deal.

Although you could probably beat the price if you shopped around, it's a good deal for those who don't have the money to fork out for a new console and also want the game pass and live.
